The roots of EMHInternational tie back to the mid 1960's when a hand full of select engineers began development of new systems management techniques and tools aimed at managing the vast complexities of the Apollo space program. At the time, little did these engineers know that they were paving the way for the formal development and acceptance of modern day Systems Engineering principles. These principles and techniques were successively refined over the last 40 years and proved to be valuable tools applied to projects ranging from Apollo, Development of the B52 Bomber to numerous other advanced systems including Simulation, Finance and Logistics Management Systems.

EMHInternational formally arose in the late 1990's, as the Systems Engineering tools and techniques referenced above were leveraged to provide consulting support for major customers such as NASA, The U.S Navy, The Australian Navy and others for the development of Advanced Systems.

As of 2019, EMH International has been revived by the culmination of "like minds" seeking to change the way projects are planned, executed and managed for commercial entities, the federal and local government as well as non-profit organizations. EMH International recognizes that long term success depends upon partnerships, collaboration and the ability to evolve and grow in creative ways. In the spirit of Beverly Jone's book "Think Like an Entrepreneur, Act Like a CEO", we aim to establish an organization that can fulfill the role of a large organization whilst remaining nimble and swift. This will allow for creative and organic growth leading to new and inspiring ideas that ultimately lead to better products and services for our customers. To this end, the company believes strongly in the application and evolution of its' research and development arm. This aspect is vital to the long term growth of the company as it presents customers with new and exciting solutions that aren't simply repackaged material used across industries. This in turn leads to strategic advantages for our customers as they will benefit from the application of new and evolving solutions, which will ultimately allow them to surpass their competitors.
